About the Program

OpenmindProjects Foundation is a non-profit NGO dedicated to empowering disadvantaged young people in Southeast Asia through education and technology. Our IT volunteer program provides participants with the essential skills and opportunities they need to thrive in the digital age.

Volunteer Role

As an IT volunteer, you play a crucial role in empowering disadvantaged young people. Here's how you'll contribute: Bridge the Digital Divide: Expand access to technology and IT education for underprivileged youth. Open doors to new opportunities for young people. Develop Essential Skills: Help design engaging learning material and deliver IT training that equips young people with important skills for their future. Build a Brighter Future: Contribute to sustainable development, empower communities and contribute to local economic growth. Inspire Change: Be a role model and mentor to young people. Demonstrate the positive impact of technology and education. Develop websites, create educational content or provide technical support. A Typical Day

Morning

Collaborate with the OpenmindProjects team and fellow volunteers to develop IT training lesson plans, or join other volunteers teaching classes at the local school.

Afternoon

Teach IT and computer skills to novice monks, local OpenmindProjects trainees, or students with physical disabilities.

Evening

During your free time, join our team and other volunteers for a workout at the public park gym or learn Thai boxing. Afterward, enjoy a delicious home-cooked Thai meal together around 7:00 PM.
